Meet the instructors

Samantha is the founder of Newborn Prep 101 and a NICU nurse practitioner with over seven years of experience caring for newborns. She created Newborn Prep 101 to give every parent the confidence and knowledge to bring their baby home safely.

Tori has spent the past several years caring for newborns and families in New York City. After six years as a NICU nurse, she earned her Master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and now serves as the pediatric provider on the labor and delivery floor. She's passionate about helping new and expecting caregivers feel confident and prepared to care for their babies.

Chloe is a NICU nurse with 10 years of experience caring for newborns across the country. She currently practices in both the NICU and pediatric primary care, where she guides families through the transition from hospital to home. Chloe is passionate about ensuring families feel supported, reassured, and confident as they begin life with their newborn.

Cat is a doctorally prepared, board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with nearly a decade of experience caring for infants, children, and their families. She currently practices in a Level IV NICU and is passionate about empowering parents through compassionate, evidence-based education, helping families build the confidence they need to welcome their new baby with joy and peace of mind.

Emma is a NICU nurse with six years of experience caring for newborns and supporting families through life's biggest transitions. She is passionate about helping new parents feel confident and reassured as they adjust to life with a new baby, making sure no one feels like they're navigating it alone. Outside of work, she's a self-proclaimed "professional auntie" to her many nieces and nephews, a role she takes very seriously.

Najah is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Columbia University. She has over five years of experience working in Level III and IV NICUs. She loves caring for babies and is passionate about helping parents feel more comfortable and prepared as they care for their newborns.

Erin is a Registered Nurse with over six years of experience, including more than four years caring for newborns in the NICU. She has always loved working with babies and is passionate about helping new parents feel confident and comfortable caring for their little ones. She especially enjoys sharing her knowledge with families and making newborn care feel simple, approachable, and less overwhelming.

Alex is a NICU nurse with six and a half years of experience caring for newborns at pediatric hospitals in New York, San Diego, and Washington, D.C. She knows how overwhelming the transition home can feel, and she loves extending her care beyond the hospital by offering families guidance, reassurance, and hands-on support as they grow more confident caring for their little ones.

Zoe is a Registered Nurse with over three years of experience in Labor and Delivery and now works in the fertility space. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing and is passionate about supporting families as they prepare to welcome their new baby. Zoe enjoys sharing practical skills, guidance, and reassurance to help new parents feel confident and prepared to care for their newborn.

Vy is a pediatric ICU nurse with over a decade of experience caring for critically ill children and supporting families through complex medical journeys. She is deeply committed to advocacy and education, and is passionate about empowering new parents with the knowledge and confidence they need to care for their little ones.

Carly has been a Labor and Delivery Nurse on Long Island for about eight years. She holds a Master's degree in Nursing Education and is currently pursuing her studies to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Passionate about teaching, Carly is dedicated to empowering new and expecting caregivers with the knowledge and confidence they need to care for their newborns.

Katie is a Registered Nurse with over seven years of experience in both the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), caring for babies and children at their most vulnerable. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Nursing Education and loves helping new parents feel prepared, capable, and confident caring for their little ones at home.

Jenny has been a Labor and Delivery nurse in Westchester County for eight years, and also works in both the NICU and Mother/Baby unit. As a mother of two young boys, she understands the importance of a safe, nurturing environment for newborns and is passionate about helping new families feel confident and prepared.

With over seven years of experience as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, Ashley brings both professional expertise and personal insight as a new mom. She's dedicated to empowering parents with the knowledge and confidence to care for their newborns.

Elizabeth has been a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for the past six years. Her favorite part of being a nurse is teaching, and she loves inspiring confidence in the parents of her patients. She is passionate about helping new families feel prepared and reassured as they bring their baby home.

Jess is a Mother/Baby Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over 10 years of experience. As a mom of two girls, she knows firsthand the excitement and uncertainty that come with becoming a parent, and she is passionate about helping families feel confident, prepared, and supported from day one.

Lauren is a Registered Nurse with over five years of experience in Chicago, with a background in both the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and an obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN) office. Having supported families from pregnancy through the newborn period, she is passionate about helping new and expecting parents feel informed, prepared, and confident as they welcome their baby home.

Lindsay is a NICU nurse with over six years of experience caring for newborns in eight NICUs across the country. She has also spent two years as a newborn night nurse, supporting families as they adjust to life at home with a new baby. She understands how overwhelming those first few weeks can feel and is passionate about helping parents feel prepared, supported, and confident as they begin this exciting new chapter.

Rachael is a Registered Nurse and Certified CPR Instructor. As a mom who experienced "two under two," she understands how life with a newborn can be both beautiful and overwhelming. Her goal is to support parents and caregivers in building confidence in their knowledge, skills, and instincts so the entire family can thrive.

Emma is a Registered Nurse with experience in Labor and Delivery in Washington, D.C. She is passionate about empowering parents, families, and caregivers with the knowledge and confidence they need to provide safe newborn and child care, especially when it comes to CPR and emergency preparedness.

Lindsay is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over five years of experience as a NICU nurse. She now practices in family medicine in Boston, caring for patients across the lifespan, from newborns to older adults. With a strong background in newborn care and education, Lindsay is especially passionate about supporting new and expecting parents. She is dedicated to helping families feel confident, informed, and prepared as they navigate life with their little ones.

Kelly is a Registered Nurse in both the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), where she cares for some of the most vulnerable patients. Her passion lies in guiding and educating families through critical moments, and she is most fulfilled when empowering parents with the confidence and knowledge to care for their babies both in and beyond the hospital setting.

Krissy is a pediatric nurse with extensive experience caring for children with complex medical needs in specialized hospital settings. She is passionate about sharing her expertise with new parents, providing practical skills and gentle guidance to help them feel confident, capable, and empowered in caring for their baby.

Rachel is a Registered Nurse and Michigan native with over eight years of experience caring for women and children. Throughout her career, she has developed a passion for public health and for supporting families through some of life's most important milestones. She believes the right information and education can help new parents feel confident and prepared, and she is dedicated to giving families the support and tools they need to care for themselves and their little ones.
