What to expect

Your instructor is a registered nurse or nurse practitioner and comes to you. No prep required on your end beyond a comfortable space to sit.

• Safe Baby Infant and child CPR and choking response. From 45 minutes, longer with more participants.
• Newborn Prep Preparing for life with a newborn. Roughly 1 hour.
• Both together Around 2 hours.
• Who should come Anyone who will care for your baby. Partners, grandparents, and nannies are all welcome. We recommend keeping classes to 8 people or fewer so everyone gets hands-on practice, but we can accommodate more on request.
• Certification Our classes are educational and no certification card is issued. Certification is a separate 3 hour course that covers adults and includes an exam. You do not need a card to respond to an emergency, you need to know what to do and to do it quickly.

Payment, cancellations, and rescheduling

• When payment is due One week before your class. The card you entered at booking is not charged at the time of booking.
• How to pay Venmo is preferred. Your confirmation email has the handle to use. Please include your class date in the Venmo subject line.
• If you don't pay by Venmo The card on file is charged one week before class for the full amount, including the travel fee and a 3.9% processing fee.
• What your price covers Listed pricing covers 2 attendees. Each additional person adds to the cost and to the class length.
• Cancelling 7+ days out Full refund.
• Cancelling within 7 days 50% refund.
• Rescheduling Free 7 or more days out. $50 within 7 days. $100 same day.
• If baby comes early No fee. If your baby arrives before your class or you are in labor, we will reschedule at no charge. You can also switch a Newborn Prep or combo booking to Safe Baby with no penalty.
